Rico's Subs & Pizza

Ordered a steak sandwich tonight, they asked if I wanted the bread toasted, I said yes. I picked up after much confusion, from their part a sandwich that when I opened it at home was a mushy bread with something dry that it wouldn’t resemble anything as “steak”.Was dry meat particles without any taste. The cheese was nonexistent and no other condiment whatsoever. I would also comment on the Greek salad with grilled chicken but now my stomach is too upset. After so many negative reviews they do nothing to improve their products, it wouldn’t take much. For sure I will never go back there, but they don’t care. This is not the first time but I was giving them another chance, they failed.

Note: This review is based on a single Turkey grinder, so the star rating may or may not change on the next visit. Another place I've passed by in my life more times than I can remember. This time Rico's was right in view at 6PM on a day I had yet to eat. Hunger took the wheel and parked me at Rico's front door. I was in a sensible (sort of) frame of mind. Ordered a large turkey sub with provolone and the works. When the counter kid said $14-something something it struck me as a little pricey, even in the current economy. Maybe they were trying to fund a facelift for the outside... Then he handed me a very long sandwich - less than five minutes later - and I changed my mind. Started to wonder if I'd been under-charged. It was big. How big? Sixteen Inches big. Stuffed with turkey and all the grinder-fixings on a gorgeous roll. Super nice, chewy-soft bread. Rico's is of the "Chopped Toppings School" of sandwich making. Usually I am not a fan - I prefer sliced tomatoes, onions, etc because they don't roll out of the sub. Rico's chops the topping on the small side, however, and they do a good job staying inside. All in all it was a banging grinder. Moist turkey slices and lots of them. Just the right touch of mayo. I'm sold - check back here after I've had a pizza or chicken parm. Probably same time next week...

Been ordering from here for decades, Never again. Last several times I ordered on the weekend, they missed up my order every single time, and the weekend manager (as she claimed to be) kept giving me excuses about how she doesn't know how the other people during the week can make my food the right way. (Same place) Never apologized, never offered to make my food again, just excuses and when I asked her to make my food again, she demanded to bring back the old order, and made the second order even worse than the first one. This place is off my map and phone book. Never again. Never again.

Ordered 2 large Italian subs with everything; including 'hots'. One for me - huge, satisfaction guaranteed for me! The only place I know that I am getting a "real" Italian sub! It has everything I want on it. The combo of pickles, tomatoes, lettuce and onion is perfect. The "hots" are the frosting on the cake! No matter where I go other than Rico's I'm disappointed 😞 . Its been this way for years. I wish it weren't true as i no longer live close by - am in Rhode Island. Long ride to get a Rico's sub. Fortunately even with changing times, ownership they never disappoint! To N. Attleboro i go.

I stopped on my way home from work tonight to pick up something quick for dinner. I ordered a tuna club with curly fries. Service was good. When I got home and opened my container I was shocked at how much food was in it, Curly fries cooked to perfection. A tuna club also made to perfection. It was so good! Didn’t have room to finish everything so I have a half of a club for tomorrow. thank you Riccos for a delicious dinner.
